Newsom Psychological is open for online and in-person assessment appointments. Autism diagnostic assessments are available via Telehealth for adults and children who are at least school age.  Intake, screening, objective questionnaires, clinical interviews and feedback sessions may be held via Telehealth. Assessment

Dr. Newsom is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience offering comprehensive assessments. He specializes in assessment of  ADHD, Autism, Learning Disorders, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia, psychological disorders and emotional dysregulation and has expertise in a wide range of other issues. He sees clients from childhood through adulthood. Newsom Psychological is a Neurodivergence Affirmative practice.

One of Dr. Newsom’s specialties is assessment of Neurodevelopmental Differences including variations in social, emotional, and cognitive characteristics, particularly those that make life more difficult starting in childhood and persisting through  adulthood.
